Industrial floor coating

Choosing a coating for factory, warehouse, production and car park floors starts with the condition of the concrete, the load the area carries and the finish you want.

EXPLORE THE AREA

Epoxy-coated warehouse floor between racking

A surface that stands up to heavy traffic.

Areas with forklift and pallet traffic call for coatings with high abrasion and chemical resistance. Self-levelling epoxy creates a seamless floor; the textured topcoat gives an orange-peel finish.

BEFORE YOUR PROJECT

Tell us about your floor and how it is used.

Share the following information to help us recommend a product.

Epoxy systems consist of a primer and a topcoat. They are not applied on surfaces with rising moisture; concrete moisture and ambient temperature must be within the limits given in the data sheets.

01Is the floor new concrete or an existing coating?

State the age of the concrete, any previous coating and any cracks, oil or moisture marks on the surface. Add a general and a close-up photo of the surface.

02How will the area be used?

Describe forklift or vehicle traffic, chemical contact, constant wetness and the cleaning method.

03What kind of finish do you want?

Smooth gloss, self-levelling or textured; state whether any section needs to be anti-slip and the RAL colour you want.

04How many square metres, and when must the area be ready?

Share the total area, the time available for application and the date the area must be back in use.
